You say "I'll do it tomorrow" and then it's June
You haven't texted that friend back and now it feels weird
You started a budget app, a habit tracker, and a task manager — and abandoned all three
You forget birthdays, miss deadlines, and find expired food you bought "last week"
You're not lazy — you just have too many things to keep track of
You don't need another app that makes you feel bad for not using it.
You need one calm place that holds everything — so your brain doesn't have to.
Most productivity apps are built for organized people who want to get more organized. Checkloop is for everyone else — one calm place for tasks, habits, people, money and notes, so you stop losing track of your life.
Tasks, habits, calendar, personal CRM, projects, finances and notes — your daily loop, your relationship loop, your big-picture loop, all in one place.
The things you check off every day to keep life running
Get it out of your head before it vanishes
Stop restarting every Monday. Just check in.
See what's coming so it stops surprising you
Because "I'll remember" is a lie
Never let someone you care about quietly drift away
Know when you last reached out — and when it's been too long
Group your people so no one quietly drifts away
The weekly and monthly check-ins that keep you on track
From idea to done, not idea to forgotten
Know where your money went without a spreadsheet
Write it down once, find it when you need it
Custom metrics, tracked your way
Keep an eye on anything that matters
Your whole life at a glance, every morning
Three steps. Every day, every week, every month.
Open your dashboard. See your daily loop — tasks due, habits to complete, people to reach out to.
Check off tasks, log habits, add notes, track spending. One more and you close the loop.
Weekly reviews, monthly check-ins. See your progress, adjust your plans, keep things from slipping.
Open source and self-hostable. No cloud required, no tracking, no ads, complete privacy. Spin it up on your own server in one command — because your life is nobody else's business.
Everything people usually want to know before they sign up or spin it up.
Checkloop is an all-in-one personal life manager. It combines tasks, habits, calendar, a personal CRM for contacts, projects, finances, notes, custom trackers and a watchlist in one calm app — designed so the different parts of your life stay connected instead of scattered across a dozen tools.
Self-hosting is coming soon. Checkloop will be open source and ship with Docker Compose — clone the repo, run `docker compose up -d`, and you have a private instance on your own server. A hosted version is launching soon — join the waitlist to be among the first.
Notion is a flexible workspace you have to build yourself. Todoist is a focused task app. Obsidian is for notes. Checkloop is opinionated about life itself: it ships ready-made tools for tasks, habits, calendar, people, money and notes that all link together — so reaching out to a friend, tracking a habit and reviewing your week happen in one place without setup.
Yes. Self-host and your data never leaves your server — no analytics, no tracking, no third-party access. The hosted version never sells your data and never uses it to train AI models.
The web app is a progressive web app and continues to work for reading and quick edits while offline; changes sync when you reconnect. A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap.
Self-hosting is free and always will be. The hosted version will have a free tier plus optional paid plans for power features — full pricing will be announced before launch.
Yes. Checkloop supports CSV import for finances and tasks, plus JSON export/import for the whole workspace so you can move between self-hosted and hosted instances freely.
Anyone who wants a single, gentle place to keep their life together — without committing to a rigid productivity methodology or stitching together twelve specialized apps. It's designed for people with ADHD-style brains, freelancers, and anyone who has abandoned three habit trackers already.
Built for good intentions that deserve follow-through.
