Privacy Policy

Summary

• We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service.
• We do not sell your data and do not use it to train AI models.
• The landing site uses no third-party analytics or tracking cookies.
• If you self-host Checkloop, none of your data reaches us.

Data we collect

Account data: email address and hashed password when you register for the hosted app.

Content data: the tasks, habits, notes, contacts, finances and other entries you create in Checkloop.

Operational logs: short-lived server logs (IP address, request path, status code) for security and debugging.

Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by our payment processor. We store only a customer reference and subscription status, never card numbers.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Sharing

We share data only with the sub-processors needed to run the service: our hosting provider and our payment processor. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@checkloop.io. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

The landing site sets no cookies. The hosted app sets a strictly-necessary session cookie when you sign in.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
